Cycles of Life

Bike shop on Harrison Avenue for sales, service and rentals, from $40-a-day comfort bikes for the Mineral Belt Trail to e-bikes, gravel and fat bikes, with ski tuning and Nordic rentals in winter. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Cycles of Life at 309 Harrison Avenue sells, services, ships and rents bikes. Its rental page lists Jamis Explorer 2 comfort bikes, 21-speed with a helmet included, at $40 a day for riding around town and the Mineral Belt Trail, with geared 24- and 26-inch kids’ bikes, full-suspension, gravel and e-bikes; in winter it rents fat bikes and offers two-hour fat-biking lessons. Prices are from the rental page as read in October 2026.

In winter the service department adds ski and snowboard tuning (a wax from $20 for cross-country skis to $30 for a snowboard, edges and wax from $40) and rents classic and skate Nordic packages for $45 a day; it asks for reservations by phone at 719-486-5533.

Address, phone and hours were read on the shop’s home page, rentals and winter services on its rentals page and winter services page, on 10 October 2026. The site carries no dated post, so the second source is the City of Leadville’s Retail Merchants page, which lists it; that page carries no date of its own.
