Silver Dollar Saloon

Harrison Avenue saloon that dates itself to April 13, 1879, open noon to 1 am every day. The kitchen serves noon to 6 pm Wednesday to Saturday and noon to 5 pm Sunday; no reservations.

The Silver Dollar Saloon at 315 Harrison Avenue says it has served drinks and food since April 13, 1879, and points to its bar and to legendary visitors such as Doc Holliday. The bar is open every day from noon to 1 am; the kitchen keeps shorter hours, noon to 6 pm Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 5 pm on Sunday, and the site gives no kitchen hours for Monday and Tuesday. It is not taking reservations. The saloon also caters weddings and events, and FREIGHT, the depot event venue on East 9th Street, names it as the caterer it works with most often.

Address, hours and phone were read on the saloon’s contact page and home page on 10 October 2026. The site carries no dated post (its footer reads 2025), so the second source is the City of Leadville’s Restaurants & Bars page, which lists it; that page carries no date of its own. The phone is the one on the saloon’s own contact page; Leadville Main Street’s directory gives 719-486-9914 instead.
