Ski Cooper

The ski area on Tennessee Pass where the 10th Mountain Division trained. The 2026–27 season is set to open December 9, weather permitting; 26/27 season passes are on sale.

Ski Cooper is on Tennessee Pass north of Leadville, at 232 County Road 29. Its events page lists “Opening Day – Weather Permitting” on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, 9 am to 4 pm, as “the Kick-off to the 2026–27 Season,” and the home page says 26/27 season passes are on sale. Daily lift hours are not given on the pages read. The events page also lists a community meeting at the Cooper Lodge on October 24, a Warren Miller screening on November 20, 10th Mountain Day on February 26, 2027 and St. Patrick’s Day on March 17, 2027; those are on the events calendar.
